Watsham Consulting may collect and receive Personal Information in a variety of ways: we will collect your Personal Information directly from you and from other sources including when you apply for a job via a Job Board, directly through our website, from Social Media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or when you provide us with your details during a job fair, promotional, networking or training event.

Candidates are admitted to a cloud-based application (Job Adder) which will be the single point of access and storage for candidate data.

Watsham Consulting may collect other Information including but not limited to company information for invoicing purposes, credit checks and billing.

Registering as a Candidate for work finding services

When you engage with Watsham Consulting for work finding services we will register you as a Candidate. During our Candidate Registration process we will collect your Personal Information directly from you, your CV, from employment and educational referees and via online tests you may perform at our request.

Watsham Consulting may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and other relevant information from your CV or email contact. On occasions this may also include evidence of your right to work in the UK, visas you may hold, unspent criminal or motoring convictions, court proceedings and other background information relevant to your job applications.

Our Clients may request additional Personal Information about you in relation to their job vacancies and requirements. 

How We Use your personal information

We use, process, store and disclose your Personal Information and other data we collect including during our Candidate Registration process, to provide you with work finding services.

Candidate Data will be used by Watsham Consulting in accordance with your Communication Preferences: Recruitment activity; maintaining contact; direct marketing.

Watsham Consulting may use other Information in furtherance of our legitimate interests in operating our Services, Websites and business. More specifically, Watsham Consulting may use this Information:

To communicate with you by responding to your requests, comments and questions. If you contact us, we may use your Contact Information to respond.

We may contact you about relevant news, subjects of interest, events and general marketing pertaining to our services. You can choose not to receive these by changing your Communication Preferences with us via natalie@watshamconsulting.com

Watsham Consulting may need to contact you for invoicing, account management and similar reasons and we use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments.

Watsham Consulting will solely share and disclose Candidate Data in accordance with a Candidates’ Communication Preferences and in compliance with applicable law and legal process.

With your consent, Watsham Consulting will share your Candidate Data with relevant clients and organisations that you are interested in and/or are actively applying to for a new role.

Watsham Consulting may share your data with organisations or individuals who perform functions on our behalf and who also provide services to us, such as professional advisors, IT consultants carrying out testing and development work on our business technology systems, research and mailing houses and function co-ordinators.

During a Change to Watsham Consulting’s Business. If Watsham Consulting engages in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, sale of some or all of Slack’s assets or stock, financing, public offering of securities, acquisition of all or a portion of our business, a similar transaction or proceeding, or steps in contemplation of such activities (e.g. due diligence), some or all Other Information may be shared or transferred, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

If we receive a request for information, we may disclose Other Information if we reasonably believe disclosure is in accordance with or required by any applicable law, regulation or legal process.

To protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Watsham Consulting or third parties, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud or security issues.

With consent, Watsham Consulting may share other Information with third parties when we have consent to do so.

Data Retention

Watsham Consulting will keep Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes that we collected it for.  This means we will keep your Personal Information throughout the period of your relationship with us and whilst we are providing you with work finding services.  

Watsham Consulting reserve the right to retain your data for longer than this period if there is legitimate interest as deduced but not limited to email, phone or personal communication between the two parties. Candidates’ reserve the right to erase their data from our database and/or request a data subject access. In this event we will contact all third parties (“Clients”) in order to ensure they also erase your data.

 

Security

Watsham Consulting takes security of your data very seriously. Your data is stored on cloud-based app (Job Adder) which will be the single point of access and storage for candidate data.

 

Changes To This Privacy Policy

Watsham Consulting may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Laws, regulations and industry standards evolve, which may make those changes necessary, or we may make changes to our business. We will post the changes to this page and encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If you disagree with any changes to this Privacy Policy, you retain the right to erasure from our records.

 

Your Rights

Individuals located in certain countries, including the European Economic Area, have certain statutory rights in relation to their personal data. Subject to any exemptions provided by law, you may have the right to request access to Information, as well as to seek to update, delete or correct this Information. You can do this at any time by contacting a staff member of Watsham Consulting with a Subject Data Access request. We will provide this data within 30 days of the request via pdf.

To the extent that Watsham Consulting’s retention of your Personal Data is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation, Watsham Consulting relies on its legitimate interests, described above, to process your data.
